Recently, someone uploaded his whole site and uploaded the whole thing on one of these awful free Hentie porn sites where artists get broken all the time by pirates. We got it taken down, but man, the gaul of these people. The art he does is classical art and takes so long. The argument of, 'people will pirate so just expect people to and hope for donations from your fans' wont cut it to keep people like him drawing. That sort of art takes too much time and is more than a full time job.

For those of you who do this sort of stuff, just remember that you are screwing yourselves over. All you have to do is pay a little bit and all who view should pay a little bit to keep art like this going. It is not a lot to ask for, and a dedicated core of fans should not be supporting a whole bunch of freeloaders. That is not sustainable and art like this will go away.

Thanks for the help & those who keep their eyes out for me. It's sad that it feels like works in this NSFW sphere are particularly fragile to piracy. Gone are the days where we can process payments easily and have to jump through hoops even finding an easy way for folks to find and support our work. Paypal, Patreon, and even denials from actual adult payment processors that get taken down because the work is too dark or weird. Then deal with situations like this which is why I'm completely reliant on the current patron base whom I appreciate deeply. Each artwork takes a lot out of me. My best works come when I disappear to write & draw instead doing the social media rounds, advertising, being active at forums or keep an eye out for matters like this. All this drains a lot of energy creatively from me, that's the tricky part. The more I interact, the less I have time to produce.

Well, let's see how far this train goes... sometimes, I wonder if it's all worth it. Time spent to reward. I'll keep on drawing and writing if there's still a thoughtful audience and so far, though things could be better, they have given me no reason to stop.

Grrrrr! I have spent a lot of time over the past few years finding Agatha's stuff on a few sites and letting her know about them. I know that Muki has some of his stuff pirated and sometimes even used for manips - often even erasing his credit bar. I didn't realize that Twistd had it done, too, but I should have not been surprised. The thing that ticks me off is not so much the excited fetishists that don't know what they're doing is wrong, but the cretins who do know it and go to great lengths (multiple identities on the same site) to hide what they do. I hope to Hell that no Pulptoon Islanders are amongst the bunch that does that and gets their jollies out of ripping off talented hard-working artists (film, drawing, photos, whatever...)
