question:

are you guys not liking some of the other vids that are mp4 format simply because you cannot watch them?

is MOV a popular format?

please tell me guys...there are videos we have posted to pulptoon that get like...4 votes. So I'm wondering if you guys hate the video or just cannot watch it .

I personally hate MOV format. MP4 works for me most of the time. I can usually find a player that will play a video at least on my computer. It is playing on the "smart" TV that is usually the problem. Quicktime formats will not play on that at all.

Agree with Gurgurant. Also, mp4 can be played on the most of devices - for example, on smart TV. While mov, being (?) Apple-designed format, isn't.
It's like comparing .txt and .docx formats. First one is not full of features, but absolutely useful. Second - actually requires some work to be opened.

And for votes - sorry from my side, and - likes are not vert popular even on forum, so it's not a useful/representative function. It is good, it looks nice, it gives a lot of good feelings for the one who is posting - but crowd is LAZY :)

It helps us know what to produce though....so it would help a lot of ppl vote
or say what they like and do not like

thanks for the input, guys

There is something very cool about watching cannibal porn on a 65" UHD television. Who woulda thunk years ago when I was desperately (and mostly unsuccessfully) seeking cannibal porn on VHS that such a thing could ever happen?

Quicktime is definitely not my favorite I use Lan VLC on my computer which can play just about any type of format you want (including MOV) mp4 is my fave though it can be played on any computer or TV with no problem
