I appreciate the compliment, though I have to admit I don't always know how to feel when my stories get compliments like that. Really I'm just writing my own fantasies that pop into my head (and even the occasional dream), and a lot of times they are based on some other movie or TV show or something, and I just change things to be in line with my own tastes. Funny thing is, probably the reason my writing stands out some is that I wrote an awful lot of Star Trek fan-fiction back in the day, including some smut that I even got help and pointers on from some ladies who also wrote Star Trek "erotica." I even submitted one of these stories for my final portfolio in the creative writing class I took (believe it or not Engineering classes require this class) and got an A on it, even though the instructor came right out and said that it's basically porn.
I would say that your stuff is certainly better than current day Marvel and DC, though. The thing is, modern mainstream comics do not value good artwork anymore. Not to get too political, but I feel confident in saying that the people running comics will (and have) turned their noses up at good artwork because of politics, with part of that being that they don't want to depict women as being attractive anymore. I'll pick on Captain Marvel a bit here to make my point, because whereas in the initial switch-over of her being this curvaceous, long-haired woman in a leotard to her modern look, she was still depicted as attractive and feminine, just that she was fit, athletic, and had short hair now (totally my type, incidentally), more recently she's become very androgynous in appearance, and actually looks more like a skinny man than a woman.
I wish I knew the answer to the problem you pose, though. Truth is, people have been pretty spoiled by the internet as far as getting free porn, and I'm not immune from that myself. Back in the day, you had to buy magazines, or order tapes from mail-in catalogues, and now you can just head over to a site like PornHub and watch hardcore porn for free, so I can understand how it can be pretty difficult to make a profit on anything, and why the old school porn I liked just isn't a thing anymore. I kind of wished I could make porn like that, and I even have a pretty good idea on a story involving a cop investigating cannibalistic murders, but I doubt it could happen. Admittedly even if it somehow got made, I'd probably end up disappointed by it anyway, just because I keep visualizing '80s Sharon Mitchell as the main character.
I also really suck at business. I know just enough about it to make me disheartened, because all the things I would want to make (even in terms of engineering things) are very niche in nature and thus probably wouldn't be economically viable.
Of course I'm someone who views porn as a form of art. Hell, I view the human body as a work of art, so *shrug*
